Doctor Merita Jackson Hinds has enjoyed a distinguished career as a global health care provider and physician for 25+ years helping patients suffering from an extraordinary range of challenges with an unparalleled record of success.
She is a Clinically Trained Doctor of Traditional Asian Medicines utilizing her skills from Korea, Japan, Hong Kong with extensive experience and training in Motor Disorders, Soft Tissue Trauma, Internal Disease, Oncology, Herbal Formulations and Nutrition, Her two years of Internship with Dr. Hok Tse from Macau Hospital in Internal Medicine and an additional two years of advanced training with Dr. Arthur Kaslow in Orthomolecular and Integrative Medicine in Santa Barbara, California has equipped her with a deep understanding of complex medical conditions utilizing both Eastern and Western .protocols with such challenges as : Multiple Sclerosis, Lou Gehrig's Disease, Parkinson's, Motor Neuron Disease, Heart Disease, Endocrine Disorders, Cancers and Tropical Diseases. In 2008, Dr. Hinds relocated her practice from Hawaii to continue her work to provide a consistent global outreach for countries in the Middle East, Samoa, Portugal and Mexico. Returning to the United States in 2019, Dr. Hinds continued treatments and research for Lou Gehrig’s Disease in Boston, Massachusetts. An advocate for women and children of domestic violence, Dr. Hinds in 1996, established The Bradley Island School for under privileged children and opened Inspiration for Health. Dr. Hinds is a Certified Medical Macrobiotic Chef and Counselor from Lima Macrobiotic Culinary School in Japan and and author of Inspiration for Health, My Family’s Macrobiotic Recipes in its’ 17th year of publication. In 2024, Dr. Hinds returned from a 900km solo walking pilgrimage through Portugal and Spain treating patients throughout the villages.
